Vesper Patchwork jacket #4 - Size S|M

A unique piece of textile craftsmanship – handmade by me in Copenhagen. There is only one.

Upcycling has been part of my work since I started WEIZ Copenhagen more than 25 years ago. I love giving leftover materials a new life, but sometimes the result becomes something more than upcycling. Something that requires time, patience and a very special attention to detail.

This Vesper Jacket is my most ambitious patchwork project to date.

Hundreds of small fabric scraps in all sorts of shapes and sizes have been carefully selected and combined in a palette of black, white and brown. Each individual piece has found its place in the composition, and the many small fragments have been stitched and quilted together to create a unique, padded textile.

It is a process that requires a keen eye for colour, pattern and balance – and, above all, countless hours of craftsmanship.

The result is a jacket where the patchwork is not simply a way of using leftover fabrics. It is the design itself. A living pattern of small textile pieces, where contrasts, textures and shades work together to make the jacket a little piece of wearable art.

I designed and made the jacket myself in my Copenhagen studio. It exists in this one unique version only.

How it fits

Unique, padded patchwork jacket made from hundreds of carefully selected fabric scraps in black, white and brown.

Each individual piece of fabric has been arranged and quilted as part of the overall design.

Cropped style with a wide tie belt at the waist.

Size: S|M

The fit is loose and slightly boxy.

Wear it like this

Let the jacket take centre stage in your outfit. Wear it over a simple T-shirt, shirt or basic dress to let the many details of the patchwork stand out.

You can also pair it with denim or shades of brown for a more relaxed look.

This is a jacket that doesn't need much else around it. It has a character of its own and turns even the simplest outfit into something special.

Made from leftover textiles from my own stock. Fibre compositions vary.

There is only one. Once it is sold, it cannot be recreated in exactly the same way.
