TERMS AND CONDITIONS
IN GENERAL
WEIZ ApS, registered in Denmark under CVR 2578 5495, owns and operates WEIZ.dk.
If you have any questions, please contact WEIZ by calling +45 3534 1707 during normal opening hours Wednesday-Friday between 11am-6pm and Saturday 11am-3pm. You can also email info@weiz.dk. WEIZ will answer your inquiry as quickly as possible, but please allow us up to 24 hours to respond.
- All prices listed on WEIZ.dk are in Danish Kroner (DKK).
- All prices include VAT and other charges but exclude shipping and freight. Prices are marked in daily currency rates.
HOW TO SHOP WEIZ.DK
- Choose your item(s), and click ‘add to cart’. Proceed to checkout.
- Enter your information. You don’t need an account to shop at WEIZ.dk.
- Make sure all of your information is correct before approving. Also, make sure to agree to our terms of trade.
- Select your payment type.
- Complete your payment with E-pay.
You will receive an email order confirmation. This only confirms that we have received your order. The final purchase agreement is complete once a WEIZ employee processes your order. WEIZ.dk reserves the right to cancel an order if the item is sold out, a price is marked wrong, or can’t be provided due to unforeseen circumstances.
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase WEIZ.dk.
PAYMENT
WEIZ.dk accepts the following types of payment: Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Maestro, and Paypal. There are no fees associated with purchases made with Dankort or other credit cards issued in Denmark. All other credit cards will be charged 3.25% of the purchase amount. You will be charged for your order as soon as it ships. The authorized amount is the amount that will be charged when we ship your order.
Please note that by using Visa Electron, as well as other foreign credit cards, the authorized amount will be charged before your order is shipped. The charge is a security deposit withheld by your financial institution and has nothing to do with our payment process. If you cancel an order after using one of these cards, your bank may hold the deposit for up to 30 days. Please, contact your financial institution for further inquiries.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Shipping is free in Denmark on all orders over 750,00 DKK. All orders below 750,00 DKK are subject to a 55,00 DKK shipping fee.
WEIZ.dk uses GLS Parcel Service to deliver your order to a parcel delivery station close to you or directly to your place of work. Orders will ship within 1-2 business days.
All worldwide deliveries outside of Denmark are subject to a 120,00 DKK shipping fee.
RETURNS
If you are not satisfied with your purchase from WEIZ.dk, we are happy to accept returns within 14 days after purchase (this does not apply to item bought at the WEIZ store location in Copenhagen). If you wish to return your order, please email info@weiz.dk and include “Return” in the subject field. Then send the order back to us using the packaging it came in to best protect the item (not including any cards or catalogs you may have received with the order). You cover all return shipping costs. Please, note we do not accept packages sent COD (Collect on Delivery). We recommend you use GLS or Post Danmark, so your shipment automatically is issued a tracking number and insurance. WEIZ.dk is not responsible for any lost packages. Your order must be returned within the 14-days refund period. Once we receive your package, your money will be refunded. HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM TO WEIZ.DK:
- Let us know you want to return an item: Send an email to info@weiz.dk within the 14-days return period. Include “Return” in the email subject field. Include your name and the order number in the email.
- Fill out the return label: You received a return label with your package from WEIZ.dk. Fill it out with a brief description of why you are not entirely happy with your purchase.
- Pack it up: Place the product in the box it came in.
- Send it: We recommend you send your return package with GLS or Post Danmark, so it is insured and tracked. Packages sent without delivery will not be considered as a return package.
- We will refund your money: We will refund your money as soon as we receive your return package. If the product doesn’t appear to be in the same condition as we shipped it in, you will be contacted by our customer service for further steps. See more under our Diminished Value Liability policy.
DIMINISHED VALUE LIABILITY POLICY
According to new EU rules on e-trade, it is possible to return a product that has been used in exchange for covering the diminished value of the product. At WEIZ we expect you to handle a product purchased at WEIZ.dk as you would in the actual store. Otherwise, you are expected to cover the diminished value. WEIZ values a new and unused product at 100% of the price, and a used product at 0% of the price. If the product is missing price tags/seals or shows signs of use or wear, WEIZ is obligated to return 5% of the purchase price not including shipping costs. Please refer to “Memorandum on consumers’ liability for any diminished value” at www.consumerombudsmand.dk.
COMPLAINTS
You have a two-year warranty with WEIZ if the issue has not occurred due to misuse or normal wear and tear. WEIZ.dk reserves the right to repair or replace any product in that order.
A complaint about a product or service purchased at WEIZ.dk can be issued to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. You can also submit a complaint at www.forbrug.dk.
If you live outside of Denmark but in the EU you can send a complaint to the Online Dispute Resolution at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. Please list our email address as info@weiz.dk.
