Upcycled Patch unika scarf #237

Patch Unika is one of my most loved designs and the oldest upcycled product at WEIZ Copenhagen. Its story goes all the way back to the financial crisis in 2008. Back then, we didn’t have a fashionable word for upcycling, and I didn’t market it as anything special. I simply used the fabric scraps I had and turned them into something new.

Today, I still make Patch Unika scarves from carefully selected fabric leftovers from my dress collections. I combine different textiles and colours to create scarves where no two are alike. It’s a way of giving beautiful materials a new life – and creating something personal that you won’t find anywhere else.

How it is

Unique scarf made from surplus textiles from my dress collections.

Each scarf has its own combination of colours and materials.

Finished with a striped mint, offwhite and glittery border.

Size: approx. 125 × 125 cm.

Wear it like this

Wear Patch Unika as a generous scarf around your neck, draped over your shoulders or as a colourful layer over a simple dress or top. Each scarf is unique, so choose the one that feels right for your personal style and wardrobe.

Material & care

Made from surplus textiles, including a mix of wool, silk, cotton and viscose. The exact composition varies from scarf to scarf.
