Unlike most hats the Cirkus hat kids size is not knitted on the round, but back and forth in garter stitch, giving it a super cool urban look. It is knitted with 2 colours, which makes it resemble a circus tent, hence the name. The Cirkus hat is really easy and highly addictive to knit, making it the perfect project for both the beginner and the more experienced knitter.
The Cirkus kids size hat is knitted with 2 threads of our own soft Merino & Alpaca mix. The top is shaped by short-rows, here used the "Wrap & Turn" method. The shape is tight and unisex with a turn-up at approx 4-5cm.
Details
Size: Approx 39 x 26cm. The hat has been tested on children aged 4 to 11 years.
Suggested needles: EU size 5,5 circular needles 80cm.
