Upcycled Story pouch

One of a kind – handmade by me in Copenhagen.

Upcycling has been part of my work ever since I founded WEIZ Copenhagen 25 years ago. I love the idea that something old can be given a new life and become even more beautiful than before.

These small pouches are made from the very last remnants of my upcycling projects. Once I start cutting into an old silk scarf, a kimono or one of my husband’s worn-out shirts, I feel compelled to use every little piece.

The materials are simply too beautiful to go to waste. So the final scraps were transformed into these small quilted pouches.

Small in size, but full of stories.

I make each one myself in my workshop in Copenhagen.

How it is:

Padded, fully lined and available in different one-of-a-kind variations

Finished with a contrasting zipper and a small side loop

Printed with "Upcycled with ♥ WEIZ Copenhagen"

Size: approx. 11 x 11 cm

Use it like this:

Coins, cards and everyday essentials

Sewing notions and craft supplies

Cables for interchangeable knitting needles

Or all those little things that tend to disappear at the bottom of your bag

Handmade by me in my Copenhagen workshop.

Made from leftover fabrics and materials from my upcycling projects.

Lining and details are selected from my stock of surplus textiles.

A mix of cotton, viscose, silk and other textiles.

Every pouch is different – that is part of the charm.
