Customized Denim Shirt

This shirt is what happens when two of my great passions come together: Customization and upcycling.

I took a classic denim shirt in sturdy 100% cotton and gave it my own WEIZ twist with two handmade swallows looking at each other above the chest pocket.

The swallows are cut from one of my little brother’s old light blue shirts and appliquéd onto the denim shirt. They are finished with a metallic turquoise stitch, adding a little extra sparkle and making it clear that this is not just an ordinary denim shirt.

The shirt has a relaxed look and can be worn either buttoned up or open over a T-shirt.

How it fits

A loose, oversized fit in 100% cotton.

Long sleeves with cuffs and chest pockets at the front, featuring two hand-cut, appliquéd swallows.

Closes with brown buttons.

Available in S|M and L|XL. True to size.

Wear it like this

For an everyday look, I love it with my old rose Liva Max skirt, Marine 2 tights and sneakers.

For a cooler, more contrasting look, wear it open over a black cotton tank top with a camouflage Merle skirt and Botanic tights.
