Something that requires time, patience and a very special attention to detail.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis Vesper Jacket is my most ambitious patchwork project to date.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHundreds of small fabric scraps in all sorts of shapes and sizes have been carefully selected and combined in a palette of black, white and brown. Each individual piece has found its place in the composition, and the many small fragments have been stitched and quilted together to create a unique, padded textile.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt is a process that requires a keen eye for colour, pattern and balance – and, above all, countless hours of craftsmanship.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe result is a jacket where the patchwork is not simply a way of using leftover fabrics. It is the design itself. A living pattern of small textile pieces, where contrasts, textures and shades work together to make the jacket a little piece of wearable art.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI designed and made the jacket myself in my Copenhagen studio.
