Its story goes all the way back to the financial crisis in 2008. Back then, we didn’t have a fashionable word for upcycling, and I didn’t market it as anything special. I simply used the fabric scraps I had and turned them into something new.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eToday, I still make Patch Unika scarves from carefully selected fabric leftovers from my dress collections. I combine different textiles and colours to create scarves where no two are alike.
